The Right Time

As God’s partners, we beg you not to accept this marvelous gift of God’s kindness and then ignore it. For God says, “At just the right time, I heard you. On the day of salvation, I helped you.” Indeed, the “right time” is now. Today is the day of salvation.
– 2 Colossians 6:1-2

As we read Colossians, we find Paul describing his hardships he’s faced throughout his many ministries. We find a brief testimony in 2 Colossians, “We live in such a way that no one will stumble because of us, and no one will find fault with our ministry. In everything we do, we show that we are true ministers of God. We patiently endure troubles and hardships and calamities of every kind. We have been beaten, been put in prison, faced angry mobs, worked to exhaustion, endured sleepless nights, and gone without food.”

Many of you have or are still suffering daily because a, b and c in our lives. And, maybe we’re suffering through no fault of our own. Perhaps you’ve done everything right and somehow still fail. Do what we are told, and I mean everything to a “t” and we still get it wrong.

Remember, God has His plans for you. God had already woven the tapestry of fate into existence and we are just a small piece of thread to the big picture. We are and going through what we need to go through at this very moment because God has a purpose. Isaiah 49:8 reminds us that, “At just the right time, I will respond to you. On the day of salvation I will help you. I will protect you…”

Remember, God, the Lord has already gone through the trails… Already has gone through the pain… The hate, the humiliation… Even death. The choice is ours to make with when “our” troubles come. We can run or hide… Catch the ball or miss it. The Lord will provide the way, its up to you walk it.

Have you been saved? Have you accepted the Lord Jesus into your life? Have you asked for His help? For God says, “At just the right time, I heard you. On the day of salvation, I helped you.” Indeed, the “right time” is now. Today is the day of salvation.

God Bless you all!
